Updating Staff Member Permissions and Details

How to change what permissions(accesses) your staff members have.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Settings page.
  2. Select Staff Members.
  3. Select the Staff member you want to update the permissions or details for.
  4. Now Select the permissions you want them to have (or update any info needed).
  5. Select Save.

Staff Profile Fields

Field Description
Name The staff members name.
Email The staff members email, used for email notifications and password resets
Note: This field can be the same as another user.
Username The staff members unique login specifically for logging into Tradify. 
Note: This field Cannot be the same as any other Tradify user.
Mobile This field is for the mobile number the staff member will use for their 2-step security when signing into Tradify. 
Note: This is region specific, so must use a mobile number from your sign up region.
Phone This is to record any additional phone numbers the staff member by use and you may need to contact.
Default Billing Rate The Billing Rate that will show by default for this use when they are entering timesheets.
Hourly Cost The internal cost of a staff member, used to calculate costs in Job financial report for entered timesheets for this user.
Licence Number The staff members Licence number for their trade, used to fill the licence field on forms and certs automatically for this staff member.
