Create a Job Service Report on Tradify Web

Job service reports are designed for customer viewing and automatically compile job details including Notes, Descriptions, Tasks, Labor, and Materials. They’re ideal for sharing images and notes via email during the job or by emailing the Job Service Report with an Invoice at job completion.

Job Service Reports show a summary of work completed on a job, such as; completed tasks, timesheets, materials and any additional photos. 

Instructions

1. Navigate to the Jobs page.
2. Search for and select the Job you want to create a JSR for.
3. Select the More drop-down.
4. Select the Job Service Reports Tab option.

5. Select New Job Service Report.

   Note: Tradify will then pre-populate the report with information supplied in the Job.

6. Review the current Details and add any additional information you need.
7. Select Save or Approve if the document is ready for you customer.

Details and Fields

Job Service Reports include several sections sourced from the job, which can be edited on the report without changing the original job:

• Description
• Tasks Completed 
• Labour
• Materials
• Terms

Other options on JSR's include: 

Report Date - This sets the date of the report.
Document Theme - Displays the theme used by the Job Service Report. New reports use the Document Theme set on the job's Customer record. To set a different default theme for a customer, update their record - see Update a Specific Customer's Default Document Theme. You can also change the theme on individual reports anytime before sending.

Signing off a Job Service Report

Customers can sign-off Job Service Reports by either:

• Online via an emailed link to the report where they can Accept or Decline.
• In person by using your Tradify App where the Customer can provide their signature on screen. The signature will automatically display on the Job Service Report which can also be sent to the customer.
