- Navigate to the Customers page.
- Select Options.
- Select Import Customers from Xero.
Note: Depending on the size of your supplier list, the import may take a minute to complete. If the import is taking more than 5 minutes, please refresh the page.
Important: When importing customers from Xero, matching Tradify records are updated with Xero’s information. Details saved only in Tradify, such as contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, or addresses, may be overwritten in the details in Xero do not match the details in Tradify. To prevent data loss, save important customer details in Xero before importing.
Important Note: Tradify only imports Xero contacts with “customer” status. If a contact isn’t importing, it may not have been assigned this status yet. Xero typically assigns a status after an invoice or bill is created for the contact, E.g. If an invoice is assigned to the contact, they'll be turned into a 'Customer' or if a bill is assigned to the contact, they'll be turned into a 'Supplier'.
Archived Tradify customers won’t be restored during an import. If a customer is still missing, check your archived customers in Tradify and restore them manually.
