Xero Error: Line Item 1 IncomeAccount. UID: Income Account is required

Issue

Error Message: Houston, we have a problem. Invoice Draft can't be sent to Xero because of the following errors: Line Item 1 IncomeAccount. UID: Income Account is required.

Resolution

  1. Go to the invoice showing this error
  2. Check the account code is correct for the following items:
    • Line Item
    • Payment
    • Price List item
    • Billing rate
  3. Once corrected, Save & Approve the invoice again to resend it to Xero
