Xero Error: Email Address must be valid

Issue

Error Message: Houston, we have a problem. Invoice Draft can't be sent to Xero because of the following errors: Email address must be valid.

The same error may occur for Purchases/Bills as well.

Resolution

  1. Go to Customers (or suppliers for Bills/Purchases)
  2. Find the customer (or supplier) associated with the Invoice (or Purchase/Bill)
  3. Check the email address is in the correct format.  Check for typos or other incorrect characters/formatting for an email address.
