Copying a Quote To an Invoice on Tradify Web

Once a Quote has been accepted in Tradify, you'll have the ability to automatically turn your quote into an Invoice.

Important Note: We understand that invoicing can be a complex process, so we've provided separate articles for different invoicing methods to make things easier. In this article, we'll focus on invoicing the entire quote. However, if you'd like to explore other invoice types, please check out the corresponding links below

  1. Invoicing Percentage of Quote
  2. Invoicing Fixed Amount of Quote
  3. Invoicing Line Items on Quote
  4. Invoicing by Cut-off Date

Copying a Quote to Invoice

Note: If you're using quote options, any declined options will not transfer to an invoice.

Within the accepted Quote:

  1. Navigate to the bottom right-hand corner.
  2. Select Copy Quote to Invoice.
  3. You'll then be asked to select the Invoice Type. For the purpose of this video, we've selected Entire Quote Amount.
  4. Once you've selected the Invoice Type, click Ok to create your draft Invoice.

After the invoice has been saved, Tradify will reopen the Quote. Within the cost breakdown of the Quote, Tradify will display all linked invoices (as shown in the last stage of this video). It's important to note that if you make any amendments to the invoice after it's been created, these amendments will not show through on the quote's cost breakdown.
