Within Quotes settings, you can configure your Quote numbering sequence, Default Expiry Date, and more.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Settings page.
  2. Select Quotes.

Quote Settings Fields

Quote Number Prefix: Text before Quote numbers. Leave blank to omit the prefix.

Next Quote Number: The next Quote number for Tradify, setting the sequence for all future quotes in numerical order.

Note: If a new quote number is lower than expected, it's because deleted or unsaved quotes free up numbers, which the system reuses before continuing the sequence. It skips previously used numbers. To start at a specific number, set the Next Quote Number above your latest quote. To avoid gaps, cancel quotes instead of deleting them, as cancelled quotes keep their numbers.

Default Expiry Days: The Expiry Date for new Quotes.

Note: The Expiry Date gets calculated off the Quote creation date.

Toggling options

In Tradify, you can also select the following toggles:

  • Enable customers to accept quotes directly via the Quote webpage link sent to them via email and/or text message.

     
  • Allow customers to decline quotes online by enabling the decline feature.

     
  • Send timed email reminders to customers to accept the quote. Learn more about quote reminders here: Turn on Quote Reminders.
  • You can change the default quote reminder message, up to 220 characters.
