Cancel Quotes

Topic

In Tradify, you can Cancel a quote instead of deleting it to keep it for your records. This is useful if you need to refer to the quote later, especially if it was sent to a customer.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Quotes page.
  2. Search for and select the quote you need to cancel.

    Note: Quotes must be in an Approved, Accepted or Expired status to be canceled. If you have a Draft Quote you need to Cancel, simply Approve the quote to enable this option.

  3. Select Options.
  4. Select Cancel Quote.

Note: If you cancel a Quote by accident; Select Options > Reset to Draft. This will enable you to edit and approve the quote again to send to your customer.

Quote Status Updates

Revising a quote in the awaiting acceptance tab automatically changes the original quotes status to Cancelled.

Customers cannot view Cancelled quotes and will instead see an error message: Quote Unavailable.
