Send an Estimate instead of a Quote

If you need to send an estimates instead of a quotes to your customers, you can update your document themes to support this.

Instructions

Note: If you would like to send Quotes and Estimates, you'll need to create a new Document theme for your Estimates - to do this follow the help instructions here: Creating a new Document Theme

1. Navigate to the Settings page.
2. Select Document Themes. 
3. Select the document theme you need to edit from the list (If you've created a new estimate theme, select it; otherwise, choose an existing Theme).
4. Select the Quotes tab.
5. Update the Document Contract Type to Estimate.  This will automatically update all references of "Quote" to "Estimate".
   
   
    
6. Update any other details in this document theme and select Save.

You can now create a new estimate from the quotes screen, by creating a quote and select the estimate document theme you have setup. See here for how: Create a Quote
