If you need to send an estimates instead of a quotes to your customers, you can update your document themes to support this.
Instructions
Note: If you would like to send Quotes and Estimates, you'll need to create a new Document theme for your Estimates - to do this follow the help instructions here: Creating a new Document Theme
- Navigate to the Settings page.
- Select Document Themes.
- Select the document theme you need to edit from the list (If you've created a new estimate theme, select it; otherwise, choose an existing Theme).
- Select the Quotes tab.
- Update the Document Contract Type to Estimate. This will automatically update all references of "Quote" to "Estimate".
- Update any other details in this document theme and select Save.
You can now create a new estimate from the quotes screen, by creating a quote and select the estimate document theme you have setup. See here for how: Create a Quote
