A Connection was accidentally set up as a Staff Member

Issue

Instead of inviting your Sub-Contractor as a Connection, they were set up as a Staff Member in Tradify. 

 

Resolution

  1. Head to 'Settings' > 'Staff Members' and make this Staff Member inactive (e.g. open the staff member and select 'Deactivate this Staff Member')
  2. Contact Tradify Support (support@tradifyhq.com) and ask them to update the username to free up their email address as a username.
  3. Head to 'Connections' and select 'Add a Connection'
