When Creating and editing quotes, there are a number of options to help with customisation of the quote when adding line items. This guide covers the types of changes you can make to the line items when on the quote itself. For changes to the Document design, see this guide: How To Use Document Themes for Quotes

Instructions

  1. Select the Columns dropdown menu on the right above the line items to enable the Tax and Discount columns. These two columns will enable you to customise the tax rates on items and the discount applied to items by %.
  2. Hover over a line item and click and drag the 3 vertical dots on the left end of the line to reorder the items within a section.
  3. Hover over a line and click on the 3 horizontal dots to open the line item menu, from here you will receive the following options;
  4. Add to Section: For grouping items together by relevance. 
    Add to Optional Section: For grouping items you would like the customer to be able to select yes or no too, separately from the main quote acceptance.
  5. Move To: This is used to move items between sections, optional sections and removing from sections.
  6. Delete: Enables you to remove the line you have selected on from the document completely.
