How to Delete Tax Rates

Instructions

Navigate to Settings.
Select Tax.
Scroll down to the Tax Rate section.
Select the X on the rate you want to delete.
Select Save.

Note: If a tax rate is in use, you cannot delete it; instead, archive it to remove it from the active tax rate list on your documents.

Archiving a tax rate removes it from the selectable list, but existing price list items with that rate keep it. It will still appear on new invoices and quotes from those items. To change the rate, update each affected price list item in Settings or bulk update price list items if it affects a high number of items.
