Understanding Tax for US Users

When using Tradify in the USA, you can add tax rates as you go to line items to ensure your quotes and invoices are as accurate as possible.

Adding a Tax Rate on Tradify Web

To do this:

1. Head to your Invoice or Quote.
2. Where you add and edit line items, simply select the Tax Rate column.
3. Where you would either choose the 6% sales tax or no tax, select Add New Tax Rate.
   
4. Name your new tax rate and determine how much it is.
   
5. Select Save when you're done.

Note: You'll still need to go to your settings to manage these. Check out Understanding Tax Settings In Tradify for more information.

Adding a Tax Rate on Tradify Mobile

The process is similar to how you'd do this on Tradify web. To do this:

1. Head to your invoice or quote.
2. In your line items, select the + button to add a new tax rate.
3. Name and define your tax rate.
4. Save your new tax rate.

Note: You can't edit or manage these tax rates in Tradify mobile.
