Tradify's Enquiries system can save you time, by allowing you to review and action enquiries to a selection of other areas in the system, e.g. Quotes, Jobs, Invoices, etc.
Instructions
- Head to the Enquiries Main Page.
- Select an enquiry from the list.
- Review the enquiry to see what action you need to take.
- Select the Enquiry Actions button in the bottom right.
- Select which type of action you would like to take (e.g. Quote, Job, Invoice, Appointment, Rejected or Actioned).
Copy to Quote, Job or Invoice
Before you proceed to your Quote, Job or Invoice, you will be given two options; use an existing customer or create a new customer.
- If you are using an exisiting customer, select the customer from the list by clicking Use customer next to their name/email.

For Creating a new customer: Selecting Create new customer, which takes the information from the enquiry to create a new customer (i.e. the customers name, email, phone number and address).
After you select an option to create a Quote, Job, or Invoice with details from the enquiry, including description and attachments. Your enquiry will shift from the To Do section to the Done section in the Enquiries tab.
Schedule Appointment
You will be directed to the Scheduler with a partially created appointment. The notes section will include details from the Enquiry. Just choose a times, date, and staff member to complete it and select Save.
Mark as Rejected
Use this action to move the enquiry to the Done tab and assign a red Rejected badge. This is for enquiries you don't want to pursue further.
Mark as Actioned
Use this action to move the enquiry to the Done tab and assign an orange Actioned badge. This is for cases where you've handled the enquiry outside the enquiry page, like creating a separate quote or job, and need to mark it as complete.
View Completed Enquiries
When any of these above actions have been taken, the enquiry will be moved to the Done tab in the Enquiries inbox. This tab also has an Action Taken column in the table showing you which action has been taken against that enquiry.
After you have actioned and enquiry, if you would like to move an enquiry back into the To-Do tab; head to the Done tab, and select the enquiry. Within the Enquiry, select Enquiry Actions and select Mark as Unactioned.
