If you're a Samsung user who is having trouble editing descriptions in the Tradify app, you may have noticed that the text changes to a light grey colour that is difficult to read.

Here are two solutions to this problem: you can either disable the text correction for your Samsung keyboard or switch to the Microsoft keyboard.

Solution 1: Disabling Text Correction in the Samsung Keyboard

  1. To start, open the Samsung keyboard by focusing on the description or other text input in the Tradify app.

  2. Tap on the settings icon (gear shape) above the keyboard.

  3. Tap on "Suggest text corrections".

  4. Tap on "Manage apps".

  5. Find "Tradify" in the list of apps and turn off the toggle.

  6. Return to the Tradify app and try editing the description again to see if the problem has been resolved.

Solution 2: Changing to the Microsoft Keyboard

  1. Download and install the Microsoft keyboard from the Google Play Store.

  2. Go to Settings > System > Language and input > Virtual keyboard.

  3. Tap on "Manage keyboards".

  4. Activate the Microsoft keyboard as the default keyboard.

  5. Try using the Microsoft keyboard to edit the description in the Tradify app.

  6. Check if the light grey text and bouncing screen issue has been resolved.
