Understanding Compatible Files in Tradify

Compatible File types

In Tradify, you can view image and document files within the app. These file types include:

• .JPG or .JPEG
• .PNG
• .IMG
• .PDF

Incompatible File Types

Tradify does not support viewing the following file types. You can attach these in Tradify but cannot view these in-app:

• .MSG
• .XML
• .MP4
• .MOV
• .XLSX or .XLS
• .DOCX
• .PPT
• .WAV

Note: this list is not exhaustive of all supported and unsupported file types.

Opening large files on the mobile app

Problem: When you open a file in the Tradify mobile app, it downloads the entire file first. Larger files take longer to open, and on slow or unstable connections, you may see an error message saying the preview failed.

Solution:  Switch to a stronger signal or Wi-Fi, then tap the file again.

Note: Once a file is opened, it stays on your device, making future access faster.
