Turn Off Clear Cache On Close For Your Browser

Problem

Some browsers can have the function 'clear cache on close' enabled, which would cause for Tradify users on this browser to need to sign in and complete a 2FA each time they go to the Tradify Platform. To resolve this, you can turn off this option for your browser.

Turn Off This Option on Chrome

1. Open Google Chrome and click the three-dot menu.
2. Select Settings, then click Privacy and security.
3. Go to Site settings > Additional content settings > On-device site data.
4. Select Delete data for all sites when you close all windows or turn it off depending on your preference.

Turn Off This Option on Microsoft Edge

1. Open Edge and click the three-dot menu.
2. Select Settings, then click Privacy, search, and services.
3. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear every time you close the browser.
4. Turn off the toggle for Cookies and other site data or cached files.

Turn Off This Option on Mozilla Firefox

1. Open Firefox and click the three-line menu.
2. Select Settings, then click Privacy & Security.
3. Scroll down to the History section.
4. Uncheck Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed or change history settings.

Turn Off This Option on Opera

1. Open the Opera menu and select Settings (or press Alt+P).
2. Click Privacy and security on the side menu.
3. Click Delete browsing data.
4. Select the On exit tab at the top.
5. Uncheck Cached images and files (and any other items you want to keep).
6. Click Save.

Turn Off This Option on Brave

1. Click the menu icon (three lines) in the top-right corner.
2. Select Settings.
3. Click Privacy and security on the left menu.
4. Click Delete browsing data.
5. Select the On exit tab at the top of the pop-up box.
6. Uncheck the box for Cached images and files (and any other items you want to keep).
7. Click Save.
