Set up Email Enquiries in Tradify

In addition or instead of an enquiries web form, you can set up a forwarding email address for your enquiries.

To create an enquiries email address to use to receive emails that will automatically appear in Tradify as an enquiry, see the sets below:

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Select Enquiries.
  3. Select the Start Using Enquiries button.

  4. On the Pop-up select your enquiries options (Note: both options can be enabled and disabled later), then select Next.

  5. Enter your desired Public Profile Name (this will show in your unique enquires email and enquiries web form link), and select Next.

  6. Add you company logo for more customisation on your web form, and select Finish set up.

  7. Select Let's Go on the final page, and now your enquiries email (and form if selected) are set up.

Using your Enquires email for receiving Leads

With your email enquiries set up, you can now use this email to collect leads from various place, see some examples below:

  1. Send this email directly to your customers that you receive repeat work from.
  2. Forward emails to it from your current work email address.
  3. Use it on enquiry websites like HiPages, Which?, Wedo or Angies List, making sure to list your new enquiries email as the email for notifications.

To find your new email (and web form link), you can do this by navigating to Settings > Enquiries (See below).

If you need to change your public profile as shown in your current enquiries email and link, please email support@tradifyhq.com.

All emails sent to your Forwarding Email Address will be converted into an enquiry in your Tradify Enquiries inbox. 

When the enquiry appears in the inbox, you can tell it is an email enquiry by looking at the source column.

Your Enquiries Inbox

Within the Enquiries inbox, you will see two tabs, To-Do and Done. Enquiries will appear in To-Do when they are new and un-actioned.

You can see information about an enquiry from a glance, with the customer name, number, email address, date received, location and source all visible.

Opening an enquiry allows you to manage the information collected from the Email (or Web Form). You can also see any attachments that have been collected.

How to solve common issues

My email enquiries are coming in from my own email address, what can I do?

Usually, this happens when you have set up an auto-reply on your email. To do this, check out the following help guides:

Additionally, you may find that having the enquiries sent directly to the Tradify forwarding email instead of redirecting these from your personal email first will resolve this.
