Please note: Any job created before 8 February 2023 will not have this job activity log. This feature also doesn't apply to actions regarding job templates or recurring job definitions.
In Tradify, you can keep better track of the actions taken on a job card with our activity log feature. This log monitors what is done on a job card, as well as who actioned it.
What triggers 'Job Created' events in the log?
All jobs created manually by users in both the web and mobile apps, as well as when you import jobs via a .CSV file are attributed to the user that saves the new job(s).

Jobs created automatically from recurring jobs will be attributed to Tradify.
What triggers 'Job Status Change' events in the log?
When a job's status changes, the event will be included in the Acitivity Log as Job Status Changed. The Details section of the log outlines what the status changed from and changed to. For example:
Job statuses in Tradify may change automatically in Tradify as a result of what you do to the job.
For example, when a user assigns someone to an unassigned job, the status automatically changes to Assigned.

Below is a list of actions that change statuses in the job activity log, and whether they appear on web, mobile or both.
Web only status changes
Job status manually changed on job listing screen
Job statuses changed in bulk via CSV import
Job statuses changed in bulk via billing run
Web and mobile status changes
Job status manually changed on job screen.
Job status auto changes to Assigned when staff manually assigned to Unassigned job.
Job status auto changes to Scheduled when appointment created for Assigned or Unassigned job.
Job status auto changes from Scheduled to Assigned or Unassigned when all appointments for job are deleted.
Job status auto changes to In Progress when timer started on job.
What triggers Job Email Events?
Emails sent from a job on both web and mobile versions of Tradify are included in the Job Activity log as "Job email sent" or "Job sheet email sent".
