Copy a New Bills Costs to Your Job on Web

  1. Head to the Jobs page from the left hand navigation bar.
  2. Search and select the job with the bill you want to copy to or create a new job to use.
  3. Select the Bills Tab.
  4. Click New Bill to create a new bill.
  5. Complete the new bill's details, and click Approve.
  6. (If applicable) Click Yes on the pop-up to assure the bill approval.
  7. You can customise your copy's details on the pop-up, then click Copy Bill to make the copy.

Note: The pop-up markup applies only to Miscellaneous items. For Price List items, the Unit Cost comes from the bill, while the Unit Sell Price is from your Price List at the job's pricing level, either the saved sell price or the buy price plus that level's markup. A one-time supplier price won't change the sell price. To charge based on the billed price, edit the Unit Sell Price on the cost line or update the item in Settings > Price List before copying. See Understanding Pricing Levels on Tradify.
