What are release notes?

We are regularly updating Tradify and making it better to help you manage your business, and our release notes ensure you stay up to date with these enhancements. Release notes are a log of new features, improvements, bug fixes, and performance updates in each of our software releases. They help you stay informed about improvements and changes within Tradify that may impact your workflow. Keeping up to date helps ensure you’re using the latest tools efficiently, and avoid surprises. 

January

January 7, 2026

• Updated Fire Detection and Alarm System certificate forms to align with the latest legal requirements.

• Fixed an issue where subscription changes could fail if a customer’s email address was too long.

January 8, 2026

• You can now add To-Do tasks by clicking the + (plus) button in the sidebar when viewing the To-Do List.

January 9, 2026

• Updated the Certificate of Commissioning for Grade A Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems to meet the latest legislation.

• When duplicating a Document Theme, any Invoice and Quote Terms attachments will now be copied across automatically.

January 12, 2026

• Updated the Certificate of Modification for Grade A Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems to meet the latest legislation.

January 13, 2026

• Moved the 'Includes Tax' toggle to a clearer position below the pricing grid for supplier-purchased items, making it easier to see which prices include tax.

• You can now enter cost prices for items that are not purchased from suppliers.

January 14, 2026

• Fixed an issue where job forms were downloading twice on mobile when opening a job.

January 15, 2026

• Fixed the alignment of the + (plus) icon in the Add Staff and Add Task buttons across the app.

• Fixed an issue where cancelling a new invoice from a job could take you back to the job list instead of the job.

January 16, 2026

• Added address autocomplete to the Job address field on website enquiries, with clearer guidance to enter a full address.

• Added address autocomplete to the Job address field on the Web Enquiry Form (both standalone and embedded), with clearer guidance to enter a full address.

January 20, 2026

Mobile App Version 7.67.0

• Added a note in Document Theme settings to clarify that PDFs attached to Quotes or Invoices must be uploaded via the web app.

• An Offline banner will now appear below the tab menu when your device loses internet connection.

• Job Activity now shows full, detailed activity logs instead of only the job creation date.

• The numeric keyboard now opens automatically when entering a 2FA code.

• Improved how form data is saved to reduce unnecessary background updates.

• Fixed an issue on iPad where saving and emailing invoices, quotes, job service reports, or purchase orders did not return you to the document list.

January 27, 2026

Mobile App Version 7.68.0

• On-site payment QR codes enabled for APS users allowing customers to pay while you’re on the job.

• When you change an appointment’s start date, the finish date will now update automatically to match.

Web

• We've added clickable enquiry numbers in activity logs. When jobs, quotes, or invoices are created from an enquiry, you can now click straight back to the original enquiry from the activity log.

January 29, 2026

• You can now add as many hazards as needed to the following forms:

  • SWMS (NZ)

  • JSA (NZ)

• Larger images added to jobs, quotes, or invoices are automatically optimised to improve performance and load times.

February 3, 2026

Mobile App Version 7.69.0

• When permission is granted, photos taken in the app will now be saved directly to your phones camera roll.
• Staff avatars now appear in the Scheduler Day and Week views within the mobile app.

Web

• We fixed a bug that could prevent some businesses from creating a website when their company name matched a system-reserved word.

February 13, 2026

• Fixed an issue where special language characters (e.g., Norwegian "ø", French "é") were appearing incorrect  across table views.
