Set up Automated Service Reminder Emails

You can set up Service Reminders to send out an email reminder to your customer automatically.  These will be sent approximately 2 weeks prior to the service due date.  

Note: Reminders will be sent Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Set up automated reminder when creating a new Service Reminder:

1. On the New Service Reminder screen, view the grey panel on the right hand side
2. Check the Customer and/or the Site contact you wish to receive the email reminder
3. Change the Email Template if you wish to use a different template than the one selected
4. Click Save

1. Open the Service Reminder you want to set up automated reminders for 
2. Scroll to the Email Reminder section at the bottom of the page
3. Check the Customer and/or the Site contact you wish to receive the email reminder
4. Change the Email Template if you wish to use a different template than the one selected
5. Click Save

The blue information bar will show when the automated email reminder will be sent.

Email Sending Rules

If you have selected the option to send an automatic service reminder email to your customer, Tradify will send the email:

• No more than 2 weeks before the service due date
• Only Monday through Friday
• Within working hours, typically around 9am
• Only for "Pending" service reminders

Tradify will NOT send the email under these circumstances:

• The email address has been removed from the site and/or customer
• An automated customer email has already been sent for this service reminder within the last 2 weeks
• You have downgraded to a pricing plan that doesn't include service reminders
