What types of attachments do quick notes support?

Quick notes support virtually any file type via the ‘Choose Files’ option. However, if you’re only interested in uploading photos then we recommend you use either the Take Photo or Choose Photos options.

Is it possible to add multiple photos to a single quick note?

Yes, you can add multiple photos onto a quick note. To do this, you will need to select the option ‘Choose Photos’ to launch your phone gallery.

  • On iOS, simply select the number of photos you desire.
  • On Android, you will need to press and hold the first image you wish to attach to enter multi-select mode. After that, simply tap on the other images you’d like to include and then confirm your choices.

Quick notes support almost any file type via the Choose Files option, however, if you’re only interested in uploading photos then we recommend you use either the Take Photo or Choose Photos options.

Can I mix different attachment types on the same note? 

Yes, you can. To do this, please select the Choose Files option.

Can I use the camera to capture several new photos for a quick note?

With the current camera option, quick notes are limited to a single photo. However, there’s nothing stopping you from creating another quick note straight after saving a recent snap, and has the advantage that you can tailor the caption to the specific photo you’ve taken.

Why can’t I see the Quick Note buttons on my iPad or tablet?

Currently, Quick Notes are limited to mobile phone app users only, but you can still create and edit notes via the Job Notes tab under a given Job.

Do Quick Notes work for other types of Notes in Tradify, such as Quote or Invoice Notes?

Right now Quick Notes is for job notes only, but if you’d like to see it used for more then please get in touch with our support team and let us know.

Can I choose to Notify Staff with Notes?

Unfortunately, Notes do not support Notify Staff at this time. If you wish to use Notify Staff, you can still find this option in the main note editor.
