Accessing the To-Do List
Click on the To-Do List button in the left-hand navigation.
Creating New To-Do's
- To create a new task you have several options:

Using the ’New To-Do’ Button | Navigate to your to-do list page in the left hand navigation menu and click the New To-Do button |
Using the Blue Quick Add Button | Click the blue plus icon located at the top of your navigation manu to add a new task from anywhere in Tradify |

Note: The To-Do's will show on both the creating staff members and the assigned staff members To-Do List, But can only be Deleted or reassigned by assignees who also have Scheduling & Dispatch permission.
- When creating a new task add the following details:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Description | A description of your To-Do. |
Staff | Assign a staff member to the To-Do. (To assign To-Do's to another staff member this requires the Scheduling and Dispatch Permission). |
Due Date (Optional) | Assign a due date to help order or prioritise your To-Do. |
Colour Tag (Optional) | Tag To-Do's with colours to categorise or prioritise the effectively. |
- Click Save or use the respective keyboard shortcuts
- Windows: CTRL+ALT+S

Note: Assigned staff members will receive an email and/or mobile push notification when the To-Do is created, see here for how to enable these notifications for staff: Notifying Your Staff Members in Tradify
Completing your To-Do's
- Navigate to the To-Do List and find your To-Do.
- Click on the circular tick button to complete your task. Your To-Do will be moved to the Done tab.
Note: You can click on the same button to reset your To-Do and move it back into the To-Do tab.
