Any number of Billing Rates can be created and these can be selected by the Staff Members at the time of adding a Timesheet Entries on a Job. Each Billing Rate can have its own hourly charge out rate. This includes being able to set a rate with no fixed rate so that you can add a rate at the time of invoicing. In the steps below, we will show you how to do this.
Instructions
- Navigate to Settings.
- This will open to Billing Rates by default.
- Select New Billing Rate.
- Fill in the details of the billing rate (e.g. name this rate variable rate or a name that suits you, and fill our the rest of the fields besides the Hourly Rate(s) ).
- Select Save.
This will set the billing rate to allow you to enter the cost later when quoting or on your invoices.
