View how to add, manage or delete files in a Job.

To attach a file to a Job in Tradify, follow these steps:

  1. Open the relevant Job record and navigate to the Notes section.
  2. Click on "New Note" to create a new note.
  3. Enter the required Note text, including a description of the attachment for easy identification.
  4. Click on "Attach a File" and select the desired file from your file explorer window.
    • You can attach virtually any file type, such as Word documents, PDFs, Excel spreadsheets, photos, or images (JPEG, GIF, TIF, PNG), etc.
    • Note: For optimal compatibility on mobile devices, it is recommended to convert non-image files like Word and Excel into PDFs before uploading them.
  5. You can attach multiple files at once, ensuring each file does not exceed 25MB in size.
  6. Optionally, you can send a notification to a specific staff member regarding the note.
  7. Select "OK" to save the attachment and then click the "Save" button to save the note to the Job
