View how to add, manage or delete files in a Job.
To attach a file to a Job in Tradify, follow these steps:
- Open the relevant Job record and navigate to the Notes section.
- Click on "New Note" to create a new note.
- Enter the required Note text, including a description of the attachment for easy identification.
- Click on "Attach a File" and select the desired file from your file explorer window.
- You can attach virtually any file type, such as Word documents, PDFs, Excel spreadsheets, photos, or images (JPEG, GIF, TIF, PNG), etc.
- Note: For optimal compatibility on mobile devices, it is recommended to convert non-image files like Word and Excel into PDFs before uploading them.
- You can attach multiple files at once, ensuring each file does not exceed 25MB in size.
- Optionally, you can send a notification to a specific staff member regarding the note.
- Select "OK" to save the attachment and then click the "Save" button to save the note to the Job
