Appointment reminders are sent by SMS twice once the appointment is scheduled.  

Enable/Disable Appointment Reminders

To send text appointment reminders, the appointment needs to be attached to a job, and text reminders need to be activated and enabled in setting, See here.
  1. Navigate to the Scheduler page.
  2. Select the job appointment you want to send a reminder about or create a new job appointment for your job (Scheduling Jobs).
  3. On the appointment window, under Text Confirmations and Reminders, select or enter the customer/site mobile number(s).
  4. Click Save to save your changes.

Appointment Reminder Contents

The timing and content of text reminders are fixed, so you won’t be able to see nor edit them before they get sent. Once you have chosen to send text reminders, up to two different ones will be sent:

Just-in-time Reminder

For appointments scheduled at and after 10 am, the reminders will be sent at 8 am on the appointment day.

Hi, friendly reminder we’ll be onsite today at approx (appointment time). Thanks, (company name) [Auto Msg - Pls Don’t Reply]

For appointments scheduled before 10 am, the reminders will be sent at 8 pm the night before the appointment.

Hi, friendly reminder we’ll be onsite tomorrow at approx (appointment time). Thanks, (company name) [Auto Msg - Pls Don’t Reply]

 

2-days Before Reminder

The reminder will be sent at 9 am 2 days before the appointment day, regardless of the appointment time.

Appointment Confirmation Contents

Three confirmation texts may be sent: one for a new appointment, one for rescheduling, and one for cancellations.See the contents of these below:

  • New: “Hi, your appointment has been scheduled for [date] at approx [time]. Thanks, Tradify Limited.”
  • Rescheduled: “Hi, your appointment has been rescheduled for [date] at approx [time]. Thanks, Tradify Limited.”
  • Cancelled: “Hi, your appointment for [date] at approx [time] has been cancelled. Thanks, Tradify Limited.”

  • The content of text reminders to state the approx. time onsite to be the entire appointment time. eg 0700-0800hrs? Do you ever think this could be made as an add on?
