Many businesses will only ever need one document theme. It is however possible to create multiple document themes in Tradify, e.g. to support having multiple trading entities under one holding company.

Creating document themes
To create a new document from the invoice or quote preview tab, click the + button to the right of the currently selected Document Theme.
Alternatively, navigate to Settings -> Document Themes, and click New Document Theme.
Updating document themes
Navigate to Settings -> Document Themes, and click the link if the document theme you want to update.
Alternatively, click Customise this Document Theme from the invoice or quote preview tab to update the currently selected Document Theme.
Selecting a document theme for each document type
To change the document theme for a specific invoice or quote:
- Click on the Preview tab

Change the Document Theme.
To change the document theme for a specific purchase order:
- Change the Document Theme.

Click Save & Continue or Save & Exit.
To change the document theme for a specific job service report:
- Change the Document Theme.

Click Save & Continue or Save & Exit.
Setting up default document themes
To change the company-wide default document theme:
- Navigate to Settings -> Document Themes.
- Change the Default Document Theme.
- Click Save.
It is also possible to set a default document theme per customer:
- Open the Information tab for the customer

Click + Financial info, Delivery methods, Custom info to see these advanced options
- Scroll down till you see Document Theme in the Financial Information section
- Change the Document Theme

Click Save & Continue or Save & Exit
