Can I Import Historical Jobs into Tradify?
You can, however, only the job header information (basic job details) can be imported. For things like costs, labour, images, scheduled appointments, adding staff members & invoices - these will all need to be captured manually once the job has been imported & created.
Formatting
Tradify requires a CSV format file (Comma Separated Values). For ease of use, please use the template supplied below.
Not all fields on the import template are required. Also, there are others that have certain rules to adhere to. If you’re unsure at all, please use the table below as a reference.

Importing
To import your Job Template, head over to Jobs > select the Options tab > then select Import Jobs from File.
Click "Choose CSV File" and add the relevant import template. Then select "Start Matching".
Important Note: Please ensure"Match existing jobs using" is disabled. This toggle should only be used when updating existing jobs (covered below).
Additionly, If your file excludes column headers, please untick My CSV has a header row.
Note: Tradify will open the CSV file, examine its contents and match the rows accordingly. If you need to change the matched order, click the X icon on the right-hand side of the row and then drag & drop the relevant field into its place.
Once the columns have been matched correctly, click on "Import Job File".
Once the file has been imported, new jobs will be visible in the Job Dashboard view. If you encounter any errors, please contact support.
