Why does my item quantity change on Bills in Xero?
If you notice a change in line item quantities on Bills in Xero, it'll likely to be caused by line item discounts on the Bill in Tradify.
Unfortunately, Xero does not have line-item discount functionality on its Bills. This means it's impossible for Tradify to send this information across.
To get around this, Tradify instead incorporates the discount into the line item total amount. In turn, it must also reduce the quantity to 1 (this is dictated by Xero).
In the event that you find your line item quantities changing on Bills in Xero, please check to see if they Bills have discounts in Tradify. If they do, this will be the cause.
